For perfect coffee enjoyment and a long service life for the coffee machine, it is important to clean the machine regularly. Because every time the coffee machine is used, coffee fats and oils are deposited, which can impair the functionality of the device. Dr. Beckmann coffee machine cleaning tabs remove any coffee grease residues and reliably protect your coffee machine.

Fully automatic machines

Fully automatic machines with cleaning program: Please follow the device manufacturer’s instructions for use.
Fully automatic machines with powder compartment: Put the tablet in the compartment for powder coffee, place a cup under the spout, start the brewing process for powder coffee.
After 1/2 cup of water has run through, switch off the device for 8 minutes (main switch), then switch it on again and end the cycle.
Repeat this brewing process (without tablet) at least 3 times. Then remove the brew group and rinse well under clear water. Before using the machine again, let two cups of water flow through again without using pre-ground coffee.

Devices without a powder compartment

Dissolve the tablet in a container with warm water. Remove the brew group. Clean the sieves and outlet channel with the prepared cleaning solution and a sponge or brush, leave to act for 5 minutes.
Repeat the cleaning process at least 3 times. Then rinse the brew group well under clear water and put it back in place.
To clean the drip tray (for the above-mentioned device types), place a tablet in the drip tray and fill 2/3 full with warm water. Exposure time approx. 30 minutes, then rinse off well.

Portafilter device

Before cleaning, switch off the device and let it cool down (risk of burns). Remove the brew head, sieves and portafilter and place them in a container. Add the tablet and fill up with warm water.
After an exposure time of 30 minutes, rinse all parts under clear water and put them back in place. Let a cup of water run through before using the device.
